What we access
When you connect your Google or Microsoft account, you grant Inboi permission to access specific data. Inboi requests only the minimum scopes it needs to do its job:
Read your email
To triage, understand, and file what comes in.
Send email
Replies you approve, plus autonomous sends within your rules — money, commitments, and opinions escalate first.
Your calendar
To check availability and schedule meetings.
Your email address & profile
To identify your account.
How we use your data
Only to provide Inboi's features to you: triaging your inbox, drafting and sending replies, scheduling, and remembering what matters to you. No other purpose.
How we share your data
We don't sell your data. It is processed by the AI providers that power Inboi (Anthropic, OpenAI — who do not train on it) and the infrastructure providers that host the service. Never for ads, and never to train generalized models.
Limited Use disclosure
Inboi complies with the Google and Microsoft API policies governing user data.
Inboi's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage, security & retention
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and retained only while your account is active. Disconnecting (Account → Disconnect my inbox) revokes our access at your mail provider and deletes stored email and calendar data immediately. Two things survive, because they are outside our reach: mail Inboi already sent on your behalf, which lives in your own Sent folder and in the recipient's inbox, and encrypted backups, until they expire on their own schedule.
